#Learnings from #StartUps πΊπ
The last couple of months have seen CEOs of startup
companies face allegations of sexual harassment and organisation culture
maligning.✊
Couple of observations:
(1) #Women cannot be taken for a ride anymore. The basic
line of professionalism can't be breached, at office or outside as well. There
needs to be a consistent understanding of the human emotional quotient, to deal
with the psyche of people. πππ
(2) Employees look upon CxOs and directors with regards to
the culture of an organisation. Startups begin lean and grow in shoves, if
lucky. A specific culture, set in the initial stages, lasts for a long time,
with shattering or shining effects π
(3) Cream-level pleasers are a dime-a-dozen and cannot
substantiate their views on the long run. The effects are momentary, however
dedication in trade, holds the key ππ✔
(4) Believe it or not, individual personas have outgrown
office spaces and invaded the outside world, through social media and
networking sites. Nothing is hidden and not being a part of this enigma,
burdens an individual towards being digitally reticent. π³
Everyone is constantly under the scanner of the 'internet.'
#BelieveIt π²
(5) Startups, no matter what millions says, are an extension
of its employees. Somber and engaging moods define the outcomes from employees
and distraught employees can develop 'forest fires,' which take a very long
time to douse. π₯π¦
A lot of these points aren't restricted to startups, however
nuances are visible in medium to large sized companies too. π’π
#Positive persona begets personal growth, which in turn
begets organisational revenue scale up and brand value sustenance. π©↗π
