When Humanity Warrants a Step Up!
I think it's time humanity stepped up to take stock of the Rohingya Muslim crisis in Myanmar. It's appalling to see this sort of ethnic cleansing by the Government of Myanmar, which is the harsh face of dictatorship. and perhaps a dealt way of wiping out a sect of people, connected to a particular religion.
The Rohingya Muslims, are considered downtrodden and complete outsiders by the country, due to some twisted thought process by certain members of the Government of Myanmar. One wonders, how they can chase out an entire race, which has been hinging on the borders of Bangladesh, seeking refuge. As Myanmar shares borders with India, a large section of them, are thronging to Indian borders too!
Governments must be supportive to provide aid for these people, whom their own motherland can't seem to own up. Shouldn't Bangladesh also provide refuge on humanitarian grounds? India has always been a kind neighbor and I am sure there will be some sort of aid package to allow these people to get back on their feet.
The United Nations (UN) must intervene and look to find a solution to the refugee crisis in Myanmar. It is tough to live a life, when one is disowned, and in pure terms of humanity; we must all come together to find a solution, in order for the Rohingya Muslims to return to their homeland.
Everyone deserves a chance to live freely. Let a common solution be reached in between the countries and the affected community, and allow humanity to progress ahead.
