Cars, motorbikes and buses plying on the roads were stranded for hours, as the lashing rains showed no signs of stopping.  Every #Mumbaikar faced the backlash of Mother Nature, which has been caused in effect, due to Global Warming, leading to off seasonal rains and gusto winds, throwing normal life off balance.  However, the stories of humanity coming together to save lives are heartening. The Twitter feed of people were filled with messages of invitation at homes, restaurants and coffee shops to camp and save one's self from the raining misery.  Large corporations

That's what the Indian judiciary system has been strutting in the last fortnight of August, 2017. We've had marquee decisions by the judges, in some long standing and extremely painful cases, which have left sections of the society, at large, celebrating!  Yes, the trust in the judiciary system has been instilled back, thanks to the perseverance shown by the judges to give out the right verdict.  Triple Talaq Tension (#TTT ) : A landmark verdict, safeguarding the dignity and character of Muslim women in India, who have for ages been subjected to non-Koranic methods of divorce, by their husbands. The striking off of the practice, empowers women of the Muslim faith to look into their husbands, eye to eye and demand to be heard by the courts, with equal rights. The hailed  Triple Talaq  judgement sets the country on course towards an uniform civil code. Right T

Some of them, have been labelled  lazy , some  digital babies  and the  pampered ones , however the market place seems to have put them up to a pedestal and consider them, ever so important in influencing decision-making and market dynamics.  Say hello to them, they are here to stay (at least for the next half a decade or so!). A large section of them will be turning 18 next year, so better watch out, since adulthood is going to hit them like never before. (  Oh, dear parents! )  So what makes them 'marketplace heroes?' High consumption of digital : This is the section of society, looking for everything online. Even mundane tasks are made cool by them, just because they enjoy doing them online. These  boys/girls  are social media crazy and define themselves by their social personas.

He's got the charm, speaks with innocence, his divinity spreads like essence.  How comes for 10, to all our dens, lightens up our faces and scares away our demons. Cute as an elephant, large heart too, he eats "mootichoor' and blesses so pure! This is how it is, this is he rolls, love respect to the Pachyderm Lord!  Rotund stomach for a big feast, large floppy ears to listen out loud, long trunk to bless thy people, and tusks to remind us of precious, our lives.  This is how it is, this is how he rolls, love respect to the Elephant Lord!  He struts his stuff, zooms on his mouse chariot, makes the kids chuckle and the adults buckle to his regard!  This is how it is, this is how it rolls, love respect to Mangal Murti, and offerings to #BappaMory

Warm Brandy - works like Silky Cotton Candy

The same thing is said about fast food and the over-dependence on it, however I don't see anyone complaining while gorging on a hot dog or stuffing their mouths with the greasy #potatoburger (vadapav) during the Monsoons! The state of mind  - that's what governs our actions. The over-dependence on anything in particular, is taxing to the human system. That could even include multi vitamin tablets, and/or cough syrups during the flu.  Last time I checked, prepping one's self to believe he/she can get out of the rut, was the sort of belief people were looking for.  It defines a characteristic gain/flaw within them, on helps learn how they react to certain situations.  My chances of catching the flu, in the winters are higher than the New York Mets winning the Major League Baseball (MLB) ( they just could, you see! ), yet the p

A Des-Content Relationship! #copydesign love

Pose for it and say Cheese!  The Des-Content Relationship  is for all to witness and comment, if necessary.  This is a honest rendition of the  love-conquers-all , sort of bonding, between designers and content creators, both, who are an integral part of the  marketing jigsaw puzzle .  Both of them, come with their own set of work egos, talismanic ideas and process- based approaches.  Less content, more design, content to match the creative,  creative punchline  v/s  creative outline  and so on, are some of the topics that continue to seek answers during every important project. Notwithstanding, the turbulence that occurs during urgent tasks, it does become an incorrigible task to put across a point and implement it, without tussling over a few diverse ideas. Some noteworthy discussions include :  Catchy Punchlines Please : At the drop of a hat,  punchlines  are needed
