I have just about got over a heart warming experience of traveling between New Delhi to Pune through #AirVistara
I'd heard a lot of positive commentary regarding the airliner, which is a JV between the Tatas (a reputed Indian brand name, known worldwide) and Singapore International Airlines (well known for its airline hospitality worldwide).
A morning flight generally sees a lot of people, boarding in a hurry, however at Row C of the IGI Airport, there was practically no line, as all guests were navigated towards the web check-in kisoks, by the ground staff of #AirVistara. This allowed a lead time of only 5 minutes, to check-in any baggage and generate a boarding pass. I was done in under 3 minutes.
Security clearance went about smoothly and hand luggage tagging was easy. Appreciate the support of the CRPF personnel at the security kiosks.
I was over 1.5 hours early for my flight and relaxed at the waiting area of Gate 50. I took some time to check mails and get some work done.
As the clock struck 9:30 am, the scheduled announcements for Air Vistara began, with business, premium economy and economy guests being called out for, at intervals of 3 minutes between each.
The entire experience from the boarding kiosk till the entrance at the tube was smooth.
As I entered the aircraft, I was greeted by smiling faces and warm on-board personnel.
The cabin crew were helpful to all passengers, especially senior citizens, guiding them to their seats. All seats had ample leg space and buckling up was manageable
The food and drink served was quite classy, which a refreshing orange juice to begin, followed by a sumptuous brunch, served in a well designed 'What's in A Box' out-of-the-box ensemble.
The Chicken Kheema Pav served, could give Irani cafes a run for their money, as the ingredients used were fresh and the taste matched up to quality standards.
The Yoga Bar, a whole grains based bar, with honey, rice flakes and nuts made for a great addition to the box
A cup of coffee brewed using roasted beans, really soothed any jangling nerves at 35k feet.
Loads of thanks to the women crew on-board for making the experience, something worth cherishing. They were quick to attend, nimble footed when customers called out for assistance and served refreshments with the brightest of smiles. Great job, Megha, Sangeeta and Monica! Appreciate your kindness.
I must admit, there is something in the purple interiors and copious use of the color in branding at #AirVistara. I'm sure all these purple colors, will help#AirVistara hit a purple patch in customer service very soon!
Customer delight reached dizzy heights for me, during this journey of mine, with #AirVistara and I thank everyone, who made my experience, one worth remembering! Looking forward to many more quick and long haul trips, in the future!
