A lot of corporate dwellers, think otherwise, however we all need bosses, when we start out! The best part about having a boss, isn't the angle of seniority, which accompanies an individual's career drive, it is the need of someone, who can tidy the #crazyrut in the initial days.
Let's be clear, this isn't an ode or an agitation-filled post for the boss, however it's just a clear picture, to understand his/her role.
  • Charioting Excellence: Creative and innovative teams need someone with good charioting skills, beyond the literal sense. Getting everyone on-board is always a rickety proposition and making everyone feel comfortable, and moving ahead steadily is vital
  • Cementing the Cavity: A lot of teams are filled with cavities, that need to be constantly filled. These cavities arise due to differences and lack of understanding. Step in #The Boss, who plants a seed of ideas to ensure cavities are filled, with the wisdom of knowledge
  • People Gatherer: Emotions do flare up and at times, tough situations glare in the eyes, that when #TheBoss finds a pump machine, to gather people and instill back, a never-seen-before confidence
  • Ego Buster: In organizations, egos are a norm. Dealing with egos, become a regular affair and managing it with wit and humor, while necessarily massaging it, makes a lot of sense. A boss, like this, eases away a lot of nonsense
  • Ticking Mind: The brain needs to tick constantly, because issues, and resolutions are needed to be seen and avenged, faster than lightning. Someone, whose mind ticks constantly, lives to always see a brighter day
A Boss like Ross, from F.R.I.E.N.D.S, is not a luxury anyone would want. Someone, with charisma, clear conscience and communication par excellence, is always yearned for guidance.
Boss, lead the way, Your Highness! Inspire with infectious energy!
