An opportunity to get girls to grip a bat and tap it gleefully on the crease.
To steal singles and power shots, beyond the boundary. Make the men go awe and stop the menace of "tum ladkiyan ghar par hi theek hai."
If only the #WomenInBlue managed the tense moments gracefully, if only #harakiriwasn't performed, if only they'd kept faith in their belief as a team...If only...
We would've seen a revolution in cricket, better respect for Indian #womeninsport, an opportunity to rub shoulders with the big boys and stand as equals on the#podiumofdreams.
It was so close, however, just wasn't destined! One thing is for sure, it's made parents of the girl child, proud and got them thinking, "If only...I invest in my girl child, thenation will prosper, these girls can bring laurels for the nation and the communities they belong to."
#madeofchampionmaterial are our #womeninblue. It's time for them to claim their territory and mark their pitch. This is #theirmomentofglory. Imagine and stay inspired for better performances. The years have many more glories awaiting you all #dreamandbelieve.
