#TIMESUP, folks!

Last year, was a watershed moment for Hollywood, with Ashley Judd, Salma Hayek, Taylor Swift, Sarah Fowler, and other strong willed women from different walks of life coming out in the open and speaking without fear about the assault, abuse, and hatred they faced from sections of their fraternity, for being a woman. They voiced their horrid experiences faced due filming movies, meeting producers, working in offices and much more. Their accounts show an extremely misogynistic side of the entertainment industry and corporate world, which unfortunately hasn't got out of the #male supremacy rut; in spite of the 21st century turning 18.
While the TIMES magazine hailed and specially mentioned these women as the #PERSONoftheYEAR for 2017, the buck wasn't supposed to stop there. This wasn't an one-off incident which could be allowed to die down. It was about standing up for any woman, who has been abused and ill-treated at the workplace, and not given the right opportunities to succeed.
The #SheWearsBlack and #TIMESUP campaigns promise to take the support for better women rights in the direction that shall see a dawn of a horizon unexplored by girls and women; who have dreams in their eyes. At the #GoldenGlobes this year, men and women showed solidarity by wearing black, to mourn the death of injustice and attritional behavior meted out to them, over the years. And of course, give hope for the generation ahead. The speech rendered by Oprah Winfrey, as part of her thank you note, after receiving the Cecil B deMille Award; shows the positivity that she and millions of women around the world possess to bring more compassion, love and humility in the world.
#TIMESUP; is a legal defense fund created to support women who have been subjected to atrocities due to their gender, and bee heckled through anti-social acts against them. What this fund will do, in general, is provide those heartbroken women relief from their damaged lives and support them financially to a certain extent; to get them back on their feet and lead normal lives, with much love, gratitude, hope and affection.
Backed by the entertainment industry and corporate houses, #TIMESUP, will shatter the notion for the affected women, and show them that they are not alone! It will also make men of flimsy characters to revisit their lives, and be more caring and humble towards the #smartersex - women, who are birthers of life; constantly on the move to make the world a better place to live.
Show solidarity and #BETHECHANGE, you want to bring by reporting or standing by a woman, man or noble soul, who you feel has been scowled, and need moral support to build up esteem.
#TIMESUP, folks! Let's right the wrongs of those monstrous men, who've taken the world for granted. Women, men, LGBTQ are all equal under the eyes of God!
